HAZE is Marty Barnes who is a reggae/pop artist. He is known for
his "Dear Dread" is Marty's first full cd project, a 14 song cd which is now available. It is polished and amazingly engineered to a master quality and full of great reggae and pop songs. To sample songs on this site you can hear songs like "Enough Respect" and "Magic Trick" Marty's second cd is a DEMO called "The 9 Mile Project". It is a tribute cd to Bob Marley and all the songs were written with an interesting theme relating to Marley's life and music career. Marty
is a former “Dead Head” who essentially started writing
songs and playing guitar in NY City. Marty originally used the
time “11:11” as an artist, but found a group in Jersey
using the name. So he adopted Clear Haze as his artist name. He
still uses 11:11 as a logo and is very superstitious about his
connection with the time 11:11 and number 11. The name Clear Haze
is used as a metaphor for life. For most of us, if not all of
us, our lives will have many memorable experiences. Sometimes
they are very hazy experiences and sometimes they are quite clear!

cares deeply about spreading laughter and good vibes. He is always
interested in making a positive impact with his music and is hoping
to "make a difference" by educating people about the
importance of nurturing creativity and "creative intelligence".
